I had a lot of fun with this in class today. We're nearing the end of the semester, so the teacher is letting us play a bit in class because she knows our finals are a bit tough. It's much easier for me to paint when I get into the subject, and this monkey had a ton of personality. I also used cerulean blue for the first time. Man is it a beautiful color!

Whirley pop!

One of the last assignments for my still life painting class. I found this Whirley Pop at a thrift store and it was really fun to play with the color scheme to make it really whimsical.
